What are Hair Stroke Brows?
Manual Microblading is a process that involves using a small handheld tool to implant pigment into the upper dermal layer of the skin in hair - like strokes that mimic the natural appearance of eyebrows.
What are Fluffy Brows?
The unique formation of the needles allows the artist to create the look of real voluminous eyebrows using a 1 by 1 technique. Microblading is the key in creating the fluffy brow look.

Ombre brows is a technique that creates a more shaded effect, rather than the crisp hair strokes that are often associated with microblading.
What is microblading?
Microblading is a tattooing technique and form of permanent makeup in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin.
Is microblading actually a tattoo?
We hear people sometimes refer to microblading as eyebrow tattooing, which is technically true but not 100% accurate. Technically, microblading is eyebrow tattooing, but microblading is not like any eyebrow tattoo. Microblading is considered a “cosmetic tattoo.
How long does it last?
It can last anywhere from 12-18 months. In general, it requires touch-ups once or twice a year. Once pigment from the procedure begins to noticeably fade, you'll need to go back to your practitioner for a touch-up application.
Is it painful?
Because of the word blade, many people thinking about microblading worry the procedure will hurt. In truth, the treatment feels less painful than getting a regular tattoo, but you may experience some mild discomfort. People describe the microblading sensation as a little more painful than waxing or plucking your brows.
